Beginner 1  (AGES 4 & UP)
This class is designed for swimmers 4 and older who have completed the non-swimmer class and/or are comfortable putting their face in the water.  This class provides the basic skills to begin freestyle, backstroke, and treading.

Offered Sessions 1– 5 at all time slots

Session 1:  6/15—6/25                          
Session 2:  6/29—7/9              
Session 3:  7/13—7/23           
Session 4:  7/27—8/6
Session 5:  8/10—8/20
 
Price:
Groups:   $90 Members   /   $125.00 Non-members
Discount for members will be reflected at checkout. 
 
Registration Information:
Register online at www.perkasierec.com ONLY.  Class descriptions are available to ensure participants are registering for the correct level.   No refunds or transfers will be given if participants are not in the correct level. 

Registration Dates
        Member Registration Starts: January 15, 2026 for all sessions
        Non-Member Registration Starts: February 1, 2026 for all sessions
  • All lessons are held outdoors at Menlo Aquatics Center and are 40 minutes long (30 minutes for private sessions).

  • Lessons are Monday – Thursday with holiday or weather related make-ups on Friday.
  • Make ups are only offered for Menlo Aquatics Center cancellations;not personal cancellations.
  • Swimmers are not guaranteed to get the same instructor for multiple sessions.
  • All lessons have a 4:1 participant to instructor ratio with a max of 8 participants.
  • All lessons will be held in the Leisure Pool unless noted
